Kids Yoga

Mummy and Me - Kids Yoga

Children of all different personalities derive enormous benefits from Kids Yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, balance and body awareness. In addition, their concentration, sense of calmness and relaxation improves, and self-confidence blossoms. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface, and when presented in a child’s language, yoga can help counter the everyday stresses experienced by young people living in our hurried-up world.

Pre-Natal Yoga

Mummy and Me - Pre-Natal Yoga

Yoga is a wonderful, gentle exercise that can be used throughout the varying stages of pregnancy and as a tool to help you maintain your fitness while you are pregnant. When yoga is performed, the muscles in the body are being toned and you are gaining flexibility without placing strain on your joints.

Yoga also teaches you how to breathe and relax, hence excellent techniques for helping you to adjust to the demands of labour, giving birth, and motherhood itself.

Pre-natal yoga classes are helpful in

  1. increasing energy levels and reducing fatigue
  2. reducing physical and emotional stress
  3. increasing strength and confidence
  4. improving posture, stability and balance
  5. creating optimal health levels during pregnancy
  6. encouraging a generally positive childbirth experience
